SkillsUSA Competition a Success
Western States College of Construction Colorado Springs Plumbing, Pipefitting and HVAC campus participated in a SkillsUSA competition in Pueblo, CO on April 3rd, 2023. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Construction Trades
In 2021, the Institute of Construction Economic Research conducted a study with the support of NABTU on diversity, equity and inclusion in construction trades. The study found apprenticeship programs jointly sponsored by labor and contractors successfully register more diverse populations. Read the full study here.
