Denver Pipefitter & HVACR Campus

Campus Description

UA Local 208 was formed on April 26, 1902. Early meeting minutes convey a unity of purpose which represents a state of mind that goes beyond the preservation of the local and the interests of its membership, but rather extended to the cares and concerns of other workers of the era. In April of 1963, Leadership for UA Local 208 and the Signatory Contractors (now the RMMCA) created the Denver Pipefitters Apprenticeship Committee and Denver Pipefitters Apprenticeship Fund. On September 17, 1987, the Committee registered the Denver Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee with the US Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship.
